If you know me, then you know that I am a guitar geek (look at my email address [lespaulrob@hotmail.com]). I stumbled across this article that goes behind the scenes with Robert Fripp (http://channel9.msdn.com/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=151853#151853) doing the Vista recording sessions. In my opinion, Fripp was one of the most influential guitarists of the 60's and I am somewhat surprised to hear him doing the sounds for Vista. Near the end of the video, they are trying to determine what different shades of colors actually "sound" like...hmmm...something tells me that the ACID properties of this project have NOTHING to do with transactions. If anything comes out of it, I'm sure that we'll be taken to a magical mystical place where we can smell gumdrops, look through kaleidoscope eyes and hear what blue and green sound like everytime that we startup our Vista installations. :o)
